Use our Cardboard Biohazard Bins to dispose of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The bins are colour coded and labelled, which clearly identifies the type of waste stream they are specified for. Features include a built-in lid and handles, waterproof construction and space-efficient fold-flat design.

Once collected, the PPE Biohazard bin is taken to a secure facility where it is destroyed by shredding, then used for Energy from Waste (EfW) and converted to Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) to generate power. Energy from Waste is a renewable and sustainable solution that provides low carbon electricity which is used to provide power to houses in the local area. The process also captures the waste heat generated during the process, which is utilised in the form of district heating. A cost-effective, compliant and fully recycled process that offers a 100% zero to landfill alternative for PPE waste.
